This solo piece is as exploratory improvisation of the classic Thelonious Monk tune ‘In Walked Bud’. I used certain harmonic and melodic ideas as a basis for my own playing. I also chose to use various effects, helping me to explore different timbres and sounds I could get out of my instrument, as well as experimenting with a looping effect to create a bed of sound that I could build upon.
