with this synth I started  with the  two oscillators  and setting them both as saw waves then pitching them alternately to give a rich texture to this horn which helps the track come together as one cohesive piece of music I added two envelopes onto the effects and also applied it to some of the effects parameters to again shape the sound and give it unique harmonics I also in creased the unison to give it a richer sound I put the  filter on it all to help reign in the high end so it was less harsh and had a warm overall sound to the horn then when this was all done I put the third oscillator on and had a multisample of a tuba so it still had a somewhat real sound to it

when working with the effects a lot of what shaped the sound of this horn is the use of diode  distortion and then I used two different ones and adjusted the q and frequency it effected until achieved the desired sound linking back to the first image the envelopes where linked to the drive on the distortion. The next part was to put compression on it all so it wasn’t a too loud in the mix but also to make sure the signal wasn’t coming through too hot on the main output from the synth

One of the final things I checked and went through with was making sure that the levels on each individual oscillator wasn’t clipping and was low enough to avoid any digital distortion and to help with how things sit within the mix
