Synthesis process evidence

pictured above is the settings i had used to create the glide effect synth during the verses of my track. I had picked the built in logic Retro synth plugin due to a personal preference using this plugin and i enjoy the tone of these synths.
i had used the super lead preset initially for a starting point but then altered the glide time drastically to give it a rising effect. additionally i used additional audio processing on this with an EQ to give it a lot more mid to high-mid presence, taking out lots of the high end and low end.
additionally i added a slight LFO to the glide sound, modulating the volume, to give it more of a sense of movement. since the instrumentation of this track is inspired by a lot of dance music in the rhythm and bass, i wanted to give it that sense of danceability by incorporating movement into the sound of the synth as much as possible

similarly to the glide synth, I had used the retro synth again for a lot of the same reasons. However i did not use a preset for this sound as i was trying to craft something from scratch.
the oscillators i had chosen were the sawtooth wave and a pulse wave. i wanted to merge these 2 together since it almost gave a guitar-like feel. i also added chorus through the interface on the retro synth to give the sound much more depth in the mix.
Additionally i had picked the bandpass filter to avoid a lot of rumble with the sound and to avoid any piercing high frequencies as i wanted this to sit in the high mids to stand out more in the mix while still being easy to listen to.
The envelopes were also picked for specific effects. with the filter envelope having a relatively quick decay and medium sustain lead to each note having a falling motion in the frequency, which i found to be a great effect when listening. Meanwhile i chose for the amp envelope to have a 0ms attack to give it that punchy feel which i thought was necessary in the context of the track i set the decay to 10s to give the sound time to breathe on the sustained notes but not long enough that it loses its sense of motion.
On bus channels i also added a large reverb to carry the sound of the synth across the entire solo as well as a distortion plugin to give it an undertone of overdrive and crunch for texture.
