Here is the Wav file of the final version of my submission composition.

Synthesis process evidence

This Universal Audio PolyMax Synth is used on the track as an arpeggiator with midi control functions which are very easy to configure, and can be assigned to a midi keyboard’s different potentiometers. To make the most of this, I used the “learn” button on the top-right corner of the synth’s interface to map the cutoff filter to a fader for more efficiency and touch- sensitive control.

I also used Logic’s Retro Synth Intstrument and built a synthesiser from scratch using two oscillators. Then, I adjusted the mix of the two oscillators, detuned the sounds, applied a low pass filter, adjusted the amp envelope and toggled the built-in chorus on. As well as 4 other plugins, I made use of this synthesiser to create a sound similar to the Juno-64, taking influence from the lead of “Chamber of Reflection” by Mac DeMarco.

My composition contains influences derived from him, with shaker and acoustic guitar forming the main body of the track, too.

Above is a .MOV File with the Composition playing inside of Logic.
