Synthesis Process Evidence

Firstly I created a granular synth utilising the sampler option and taking an apple loop in the key of my song. I then played with the sequencer settings until I got a sound that I liked. This allowed me to have a stuttering effect on chords being played which would trigger at random positions in the sample. I added a very big delay and reverb on this synth to add space and fit the general vibe i was going for with the rest of the track.

I repeated the same process as used previously but this time I used a shortened section of the riff used at the intro of the song. Again I played with the sequencer settings till I achieved a sound I liked, and also added the same reverb and delay.

Here I had a juno style pad preset to add to the depth of the synth section of my song. I tweaked some of the settings to my liking (such as filters and oscillator levels) and followed the same chord pattern I used for the granular synths.

Finally I had a Juno inspired lead preset which I, again, tweaked some of the settings to my liking and used as a pluck sound to get the depth I wanted. On both of these Juno synths I had a plate reverb with a high wet volume adding a lot of spaciness to the track.
