Synthesis process evidence

Above is a screenshot of my synth patch along with an audio example. I chose to use subtractive synthesis in the verse of my song to create an eerie atmosphere and fill out the space. Particular features of my patch I like are: detuned oscillators combined with a chorus effect to add thickness and width, the reversed filter envelope that ducks the cutoff every time a new note is triggered, which makes it feel more energetic, and the noise that feeds into distortion to add grit to the synth. All these considerations were made to try to match the moodiness and power of my guitar-led, grungey track.
