Synthesis process evidence
For the synthesis part of the assignment, I used the synthesis keyboards in the conservatoire studios for my lead synth. Once I got the ‘disco-pop’ sound I was happy with, I manipulated the audio using EQ and distortion to make it have more of a vintage and powerful sound. For my backing synths, I programmed the notes and used Logic Pro plug-ins to add to the background of my song. They aren’t a feature of the music, however, I used them to make the texture thicker and to add some character.
