Synthesis process evidence

For this composition my element of synthesis was added using the alchemy granular synth. In using this I experimented by creating a harmony stack of my own voice singing the word ‘dreaming’ which I exported as one stereo audio file and then dragged it into the granular synth as if it was a sample. I used a sine wave and then altered the synths settings to reach my desired sound. I started by turning up the drive and de tuning the sound by -8. I turned the sustain up fully and the release down completely and then altered the attack to be higher and turned the hold and reaction time down too. I then layered the sound five times with a slightly dissonant harmony and inserted it into my bridge/solo type section. This was to add a layer of harmonic texture and interest underneath my guitar solo.
