This project was recorded as part of a duo I am in with the singer. For the synthesis elements I used elements of subtractive synthesis to shape the forms of pre existing presets in logic. Below are the examples of this

During the second and third choruses, there is a counter melody which I have tweaked in the following ways.

I changed the “Shape 2” to be a triangle wave instead of the original square wave.

I decreased some of the vibrato.

I decreased the effect rate of the chorus.

In the final chorus there is a pad that I used to add some more texture.

I liked the way the preset sounded so I only changed the EQ of it to fit into the song

For the arpeggiated synth in the outro I used a pad.

For this pad I increased the attack and cutoff overall and the tuning of oscillator C.

There is an organ at the outro which I used to have some more ambience and as a bassy pad

for this I took off all the distortion and turned the percussion section on with normal volume and fast time

finally I used another pad for the higher frequencies

For this pad I altered it by turning down the vibrato and the LFO on the filter.
