Portfolio Intention

My portfolio focuses on two different projects. Ludvik Langholm, a band I am actively a member of and contribute creatively to the songs as a whole. We are a band who gig often and have recorded a live EP. These submissions are an example of that aspect of my work. I also want to note that during “You are the sea” there’s a quieter refrain section, during this part I am using brushes to scrape on my hi-hats to imitate a reversed sound, alongside cymbal scraping and dragging my fingers across drum heads to create ambience.
I have included some images and videos from this process also.

The second project is Tommy Handley, this was a session drummer role where I was asked to come into one session where I hadn’t prepared any parts prior. I wanted to include this distinction as I believe both of these roles showcase different skills within my writing and playing.
