Written content
Written content (e.g. the main body of a reflection, evaluation, essay, etc.) must be written in a text block and embedded in the page. You should not upload a written document to a Show post that needs to be opened separately.
Text Block:
There are different types of text blocks in Show, which display text in different ways. You should choose the one that most appropriately displays the information you need to include:
- Paragraph: standard text block
- Heading: insert a section heading (included in your word count)
- List: bullet points
- Quote: give quoted text visual emphasis
- Pullquote: give special visual emphasis to quoted text
- Table: structure content in rows and columns
- Verse: Insert lyrics or poetry using special spacing formats
Video
Summative work: anything you have created or that you are in as part of an assessment.

References and appendices from external sources
Use the embed or specific platform block, e.g. YouTube. Use the caption feature below to add a citation.
Audio
Upload audio file directly to the audio block, unless specified otherwise by the assignment brief.
Images
There are a variety of image blocks under the media block category, choose the one that best displays your content.
Use PDFs to display outputs from specialised software, for example a score from Sibelius. You should not just upload your assignment as a PDF to Show. Use the file block to add a PDF.
File
Use the file block to add specialist files, for example lossless audio files (.wav/.aiff), to be downloaded by the marker.
