Potential Market territories and demographics:

My primary research in regards to Until Joy’s potential market demographics in national/international territories has primarily been drawn from infographics, in Metas case, referred to as Insights, from its various shared, linked social media accounts, being displayed directly in the attached infographics,

Communication with Artists // Releases:

My primary from of communication has been through the use of direct messaging services on social media sites such as Instagram, where we have exchanged various forms of content such as .Wav file sharing via Google Drive, to receive and download early demo tracks, the standout being their recently now released single “Puppet Master”, having been released after re-recording and following mixing suggestions and thoughts I had made, seeing its final master release to various streaming platforms on April 4th, 2025. It still runs as the bands most recent single and primary advertising target, standing out as the Artist Pick on Spotify. And featuring new polished photographic cover art, a significant move in pushing the band towards signing opportunities, when presented as a professional outfit, as well as more simply standing out alongside the bands other previously released tracks.

Artist biography:

Redeveloped and edited following my advice, the primary noticeable change being the noticeable and heavily pushed link social media and streaming accounts, an attempt to aggressively draw listeners onto as many other linked accounts as possible, where fans and listeners can feel and be directly contacted by the band, seeing a personal and casual image, a preconceived artificial feel as authenticity and personal relation. My aim since day one has been to forcefully drive as many listeners to every available artist platforms, every listener becomes an interactor, a fan, a target for both merchandise sales as well as live events and performances.

Since my last form of involvement, Until Joy, have now attracted the attention of localised Leeds Record Label, Monomyth Records, a relationship that has proved fruitful as the band now have consistent access to recording and studio/rehearsal room opportunities, alongside a secondary form of advertising, using Monomyths own social media accounts, as well as provided a new avenue of approach when approaching venues and organisers. The new social media layout, as per following my primary aims, of producing a “follow through” harnessing as many viewers, listeners and fans as possible across a range of platforms. The new layout is immediately smoother, more professionally laid out, with clear avenues of communication and bookings for potential promotors.

Final Evaluation

Overall I found the experience working alongside Until Joy to be effective and whether by my own validation or luck the band is now left in a notably good place, having built hugely on their initial starting point, in particular on aspects such a clarity of image and the increasing quality of the mixing and recording of their recent output.
