The attachment above consists of clips taken from a video of the 5-minute warmup I use to physically prepare for dance classes. Since these classes run at the end of the day, I often arrive lacking energy, therefore the upbeat nature of the exercises such as jogging on the spot and star jumps aids me in gradually attaining the pace I sustain for the duration whilst energising me so I am prepared. Such exercises support my development as feeling prepared means I can give 100%, and giving my all to each session will result in improvement at a swifter rate. My biggest challenge has been ensuring I execute the exercises in the correct manner as the tempo increases. My aim is to increase my accuracy of each exercise by Christmas, and after Christmas I will implement this into my morning routine to aid me in feeling ready for the day.
