Today, a small group did a quick improv group which is called “Mind Meld.” Where you walk into a the circle with another player and the circle counts down from 3-1 and that’s when the two people in the middle would say the word. If they don’t get it then they would be tapped out and another pair go to the middle and start the exercise over again. But if they say the same word, as a group they all say: “We did a Mind Meld.” I found this really beneficial before getting into scenes or a session of improv because they wake up your brain and starts to get words to get in your head for ideas. I also feel as though because we were looking into the partner’s eyes we had a ensemble connection.
