Assignment Guidelines

1. Introduction
- Who is the artist and what do they do?
- At what level do they operate?
- How can your experience benefit them?
2. SWOT Analysis
- Identify and critically analyse both the internal and external environment(s)
- What can you learn from utilising this approach, and how can it benefit your artist(s)?
3. Objectives and Strategy
- Identity the aim and/or objective(s) of your artist(s)
- Can include, but not limited to: a mission statement, incremental growth strategy, 6-month plan, etc. Be creative, but realistic!
4. Marketing
- What is their position in the market?
- How have you defined your target market, and how do you plan on reaching them?
- How will your marketing decisions help to reach your objectives and develop your artist(s)?
5. Contracts & Finance
- How much capital does the artist(s) have and from where does it come? Do they tour? Are they a signed act?
- What financial arrangement do they have with you (acting as a manager)? What other contractual obligations do you have with each other?
