This is a section of my vocal warmup. In my vocal warmup I have been focussing on breathing down into my diaphragm, releasing tension in my body and producing a strong sound. Some of the exercises I included were breathing in semi-supine, rolling up and down through my spine and sirening. I have started to notice that my breathing is becoming more consistently grounded. I would like to continue working on finding more resonance and relaxing whilst being in alignment.

This will help me to release tension and be more free when I start to speak. I included this in my warmup in particular because I received feedback in my voice into text class with Anita that my jaw has some tension when I was reading my poem. So I have been focussing on this to find more release in this area which I hope in future will then impact on the overall clarity of my speech when I am reading my poem and acting in general.
